"WHERE DID MOMMY GO?" “TO HEAVEN.”

At least 17,000 children have been orphaned in the Gaza Strip, while 39,384 children in Gaza have lost at least one parent. “These children are living in tragic conditions, with many forced to take refuge in torn tents or destroyed homes, in a near-total absence of social care and psychological support.”

Two young girls are crying and appear distressed, holding their heads and each other. The girl on the left looks directly at the camera with tears on her face, while the girl on the right is crying with her eyes tightly shut, also holding her head and embracing her.
